Dr. Blake Dickens, DMD
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Dickens completed his undergraduate and dental training at the University of Kentucky. He graduated from his Pediatric Dental residency program at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 2019—the same year he joined our practice.
At Greater Owensboro Pediatric Dentistry, he continues the legacy of exceptional pediatric dental care for the Greater Owensboro population that Dr. Carol Braun has created over the years, who has since retired.
Dr. Dickens is passionate about bringing a smile to every child's face as they walk through our doors, and he is dedicated to setting up each child for a lifetime of healthy smiles. We teach our valuable patients that dentistry can be fun and educational; it is our greatest pleasure to watch our little ones grow up into beautiful smiles.
As an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Kentucky Dental Association—your local pediatric dentist is dedicated to continuing ongoing education and maintaining high-quality training.
In his free time, Dr. Dickens enjoys hunting, all outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife Katelyn and his adorable daughters Cora and Evelyn. Watching them grow up has been his greatest blessing and has especially deepened his passion for pediatric dentistry.

Dental Hygienist
As a skilled dental hygienist with expanded duty of dental assistant, Katie loves many aspects of her job.
Her compassionate and kind nature allows her to go the extra mile for anyone who might be having a hard time. She loves helping special needs patients and making sure they are comfortable and happy. Her number one priority is getting to know each child and genuinely caring for them and tailoring to their special needs.
When she's not making children smile, she enjoys spending time with her husband and five kids. Her hobbies and likes include traveling, dancing, swimming, painting, going to church, and joking and laughing.
Leigh Anne, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Leigh Anne is an outstanding dental hygienist here at GOPD! She has a passion for pediatric dentistry and loves spending time with all the amazing children that come through our doors. Teaching the children about their primary and permanent teeth, and overall excellent oral health is one of her favorite aspects of what she does.
Being part of such an amazing dental team that treats every child like their own, while providing extraordinary patient care is a close second.
Her happiness extends to time outside the office, where she spends time with her loving husband, two beautiful kids, and an adorable fur baby.

Leisa is a beloved and highly-skilled member of our dental team; she's had over 30 years of helping children care for their beautiful smiles.
Children are a focal point in her life, as she and her husband love spending time together and with their two children and three granddaughters. She enjoys having people over and entertaining friends and family with games and playing cards.

GIna is devoted to keeping the office running smoothly. She helps with scheduling appointments, working with insurance companies, and all things paperwork. She is also one of the first faces you see as you enter our dental office, look for her friendly, familiar smile!

Amber has exceptional experience aiding and assisting patients and their families during their appointments. You will also find her at the front of the office scheduling visits, answering phone calls, or in the back assisting with your child's appointment.
